1stWEST Financial Corporation Announces Key Hires

1stWEST Financial Corporation, a global leader in providing background investigations to the corporate finance industry, is pleased to announce the following key hires.    

Ron Montgomery joins 1stWEST as Vice President/Western Regional Manager.  Ron is cultivating relationships with corporate finance professionals and marketing 1^stWEST's premier background investigations products.   

Ron has over 25 years experience as a middle market corporate lending executive and was most recently the National Underwriting Manager for Guaranty Business Credit ("GBCC") which he joined in 2001 after GBCC's acquisition of a loan portfolio from FINOVA Capital.  While at FINOVA, Ron held positions of increasing responsibility including National Underwriting Manager, National Marketing Manager and National Business Development Manager where he and his team sourced, underwrote, documented and closed approximately one thousand transactions, including several hundred leveraged buyouts. 

Ron is active in numerous trade organizations including the CFA, TMA, LAVA and ACG and holds a B.S. Degree in Finance and Management from the University of Southern California.

Earl David joins 1stWEST as Vice President/Corporate Development.  His responsibilities at 1stWEST include corporate client relationship development and related technical infrastructure operations.   Earl has extensive technology sales, marketing, account relationship management and operations experience in the commercial lending industry.   

Prior to joining 1stWEST Earl has over 25 years of diverse experience as a technology professional in the financial services industry with particular emphasis on executive level relationship management, project management, software development and outsourcing management.  He has extensive experience in all phases of project planning and third party interfaces, networking hardware/software and contract negotiations.
